On 21st March 2009, GNRC Africa in collaboration with SAYS- the Somaliland Association of Youth Alliance, organized a workshop in Borama, the second capital of Somaliland. The GNRC’s Second Inter-religious Colloquium for young people was held in Brussels November 23-25, 2007, and addressed the theme, "Consumerist Society: Challenges to our Religious Faith."
Positive peace cannot be attained without focussing on ethical principles of empathy, respect and reconciliation. This was learnt during a five-day training workshop organized by The Global Network of Religions for Children and facilitated by the Nairobi Peace Initiative, NPI-Africa held in Zanzibar.
