Mr. Temu is a graduate of Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Diplomacy and holder of a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Mr. Temu has worked with local, government and international institutions on issues relating to peace, ending violence against children, and promoting gender equality.

He is a peacebuilding facilitator, C/PVE trainer, and the Coordinator of GNRC—Tanzania’s Children’s Peace Programs (CPP). He coordinates peace club activities and is also the General Secretary of the Youth in Action Platform in Tanzania. Mr. Temu is a children and youth rights activist and an SDG Champion currently advocating for Goals 1: No Poverty; 4: Quality Education; and 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Mr. Temu has had the privilege of being involved in GNRC programs as a young peace club member and has been trained in LTLT and CRAVE/BRAVE. He credits the GNRC with providing a much-needed space for children and youth to learn the values of respect, empathy, responsibility, and reconciliation.
