Ms. Barać comes from a small town in northern Serbia called Sombor. She has been working with children and youth for more than ten years. She began by volunteering in the School of Good Will, a program by the Sombor Educational Center, where she realized that her calling was to work with children. She has remained there ever since.
Her passion to improve the lives of children influenced her choice to work with the GNRC. Ms. Barać serves as the GNRC-Serbia Project Coordinator where she leads projects that aim to create a better and safer place for children and youth. While she is passionate about helping children, she believes it is even better to create an environment and conditions where they have every opportunity to develop and express themselves independently without the need for help.
