Last August, the GNRC Europe participated in a training course on ‘Learning to Live Together’ organized by DANIB (‘For Democratic Azerbaijan’) and supported by the ‘Youth for Peace via Cultures’ project and ‘Youth in Action’ program, two initiatives created by the EU Commission. The training course took place in Baku, Azerbaijan from the 23rd until the 29th of August 2012 and allowed more than 40 participants coming from 10 different European countries to be introduced and trained on how to use the Learning to Live Together Manual and exchange their experiences on youth empowerment.
The GNRC Europe participated in the facilitation together with another specialist in the field of Ethics Education and LTLT trainer. During the training, the participants went through most of the modules of the manual and had a chance to simulate a planning of sessions during the last day.
The training was successful and most of the participants showed their interest in using the manual in their respective organizations. Also, several participants expressed their interest in organizing trainings and workshops in their own countries.
