GNRC contact person in Mauritius, Mr. Belall Maudarbux delivered a key presentation of the inter religious education project on Wednesday 2nd March, 2016 in the Frank Richard Lecture Hall at the Mauritius Institute of Education.

The idea is to use the book ‘Religions in Mauritius’ along with Learning to Live Together to expose school children to the religious ‘other’.

In attendance were the minister of Education Mrs. Dookun, the director of the Mauritius Institute of Education, Mr. Varma, the ambassadors of France and the UK, Anglican archbishop Rev. Ian Ernest, the Catholic Bishop for Mauritius, Maurice Piat and also the Chancellor of the university of Mauritius and religious leaders.
