GNRC Comoros, UNICEF Comoros and other leading child rights organizations in the country have partnered to develop a strategic plan to streamline and lead child protection work in the country.

At a meeting convened by UNICEF on March 22, 2022, GNRC Comoros Coordinator and Director of Conseil De La Paix – Cap, Mr. Akim Said M’changama, along with representatives from nine other civil society organizations, discussed sustainable solutions to protect the rights and well-being of children, youth and women in the Comoros.

The 1-day meeting was graced by UNICEF Regional Director for Eastern and Southern Africa Mr. Mohamed Fall, and the UNICEF Representative in the Comoros, Dr. Mariame Sylla.
