Committed to Mahatma Gandhi’s lifelong mission of building peace and ensuring justice, Shanti Ashram through the Coimbatore Peace Festival continues the noble quest that Gandhi put his life towards. The Peace Festival, by memorializing the tragic loss of life from the atomic bombing of Japan that ended the devastating Second World War, not only aims to educate the youth, but also to cultivate harmony and understanding in our society.
