Bosnia and Herzegovina Marks World Day of Prayer and Action for Children (DPAC)

Visoko, Bosnia and Herzegovina was happy to commemorate the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children (DPAC) through an activity themed ‘Stop Violence against Children’. The activity scheduled on 20th November, 2015, was attended by primary school children, religious leaders, teachers of Visoko and the community at large. An estimated 170 primary school pupils attended the event.

The success of the event was made possible through the sponsorship of the Global Network Religions for Children (GNRC), Arigatou International New York – Prayer and Action for Children, World Vision and Visoko Municipality.

Creativity and shaping of children’s morals were among the major topics tackled during the DPAC activity.

GNRC Bosnia and Herzegovina is also planning a round table activity this week (November 23rd-25th, 2015) for religious leaders. The theme will be on the future and role of adults and youth in the society.
