On Sunday the 25th of November, the Spanish Episcopal Reformed Church and the Baha’i Community of Spain gathered in the Cathedral del Redentor in Madrid to celebrate the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children.
the DPAC together with the active participation of children, their parents and Rev. Jessica Coello.Children and youth sang together, read parts of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, made offerings and they even surprised us with a drama representation. The celebration ended with an amazing piano interpretation performed by one of the girl present.
With all our participation, we reached creating and enjoying real emotional atmosphere with empathy for children worldwide as well as reaching the spirit of the GNRC that we received during the Fourth Forum in Tanzania. This wonderful day ended sharing a snack, playing, singing and dancing. The youth group of the Spanish Episcopal Church looks forward to preparing the next celebration.
