Mr. Bukenya is a Ugandan youth who recently completed campus pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Fine Art. He is the leader of the second cohort of the Youth in Action in Uganda and mobilizes and coordinates youth in the Restoring and Empowering Communities (REC)’s operation areas. He also represents REC in PVE forums and is one of the four members in the REC Skilling Department.
Mr. Bukenya works with the GNRC as it is about young people and peaceful co-existence, and he believes that young people have a role to play in promoting peace. He believes that peace starts with him and that as a trained GNRC youth, he can mentor children and other youths to live and lead a positive life.
