\"GNRC\u2013Tanzania<\/p>\n

GNRC\u2013Tanzania has been nominated as the lead interfaith organization in Tanzania to mobilize faith efforts towards a healthy and safe Tanzania, free of waste pollution. The opportunity comes at a time when the world is commemorating the World Environment Day on 5th June, 2018 themed, \u201cBeating Plastic Pollution.\u201d The day is important for mobilizing worldwide awareness and action towards the protection of our environment. Since it began in 1974, it has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As part of GNRC\u2019s network building and strengthening, GNRC\u2013Tanzania is now part of the global movement, Let\u2019s Do It! World Cleanup Campaign 2018, a movement endorsed by the Tanzanian Government with an audacious goal to get the working population contribute to the national cleaning day on 15th September 2018. As is seemingly the trend across the world, Tanzania has been a victim of uncontrolled plastic pollution and this cleanup campaign will help the country address the issue and also respond to the Sustainable Development Goal of a world clean environment. GNRC\u2013Tanzania Coordinator, Mr. Yusuph Masanja is the appointed Deputy Mentor for the campaign.<\/p>\n

GNRC\u2013Tanzania is currently mobilizing faith resources to address the country\u2019s campaign of a clean environment.<\/p>\n
