Approximately 60 participants mainly youth and children attended the event.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>The event revolved around four main topics: &#8211; Identifying the types of violence against children &#8211; emotional violence, psychological violence and physical violence. The second part was classifying the primary players in promoting peace; parents, teachers, learning institutions, centers for community development, security\/government institutions and faith based organizations among others.<\/p>\n<p>The third session involved ways of ending violence- addressing it in public, counseling, through debates and dialogues, following legal channels and teaching it in schools. The fourth session encompassed picturing out a non-violent society.
