Day of Prayer and Action for children marked by prayers in Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An inspiring event was put together by activists in Pakistan on November 19, 2010, to celebrate the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children. <!--more-->  \t\t\t \tMore than 165 children and 15 adults were the enthousiastic participants of one of the most important events that marked the activism zone for children in Pakistan.<br \/>\nIt was an impressive gathering where children, belonging to different religions and beliefs &#8211; there where Muslims and Christians &#8211; learnt to pray together for their lives and their future: they prayed for safe environment, for equal chances and opportunities, for health and education, and most of all, for peace and harmony.<br \/>\nThe principal of St. Mary&#8217;s School highlighted the issues that children of Pakistan need to face on a daily basis and made some recommendations on overcoming these problems, essentially by helping one another and being constantly aware of the other&#8217;s presence, freedom and spirituality.<br \/>\n<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-1832\" hspace=\"5\"
