To celebrate the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children, Students from Amman Baccalaureate School, in grades 7 and 8, had thorough discussions about what prayer meant to them, why it is important and how it affects their lives. At the end of the discussion some students produced posters, and others did oral presentations to demonstrate their understanding of the act of praying.<\/p>\n

Moreover, and as part of the series of activities that the Amman Baccalaureate School implemented for the Pakistani Relief Campaign, and in cooperation with the Face to Faith Foundation, a group of 10th grade students participated in a video conference session held at the De La Salle College on Dec 15th. The video-conference was part of the Foundation`s “SolidariTEA” Campaign, which aims at helping people of diverse faiths and backgrounds from around the world to gather “around a cup of tea” to tackle issues related to human rights and extreme poverty.<\/p>\n

In addition to their participation in the conference, the students organized a bake sale to collect funds for their project \u201cSharing our humanity with the people of Pakistan\u201d, and raised a considerable amount of money that was sent to the children in Pakistan.
