The Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC) Secretariat, in partnership with Prayer and Action for Children<\/a>, held a capacity-building training for its members on advocacy on 25th<\/sup> July 2023. The training aimed to equip the members with skills and knowledge on how to advocate for children\u2019s rights and well-being, through an interfaith approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forty-six participants from Europe, Africa,\u00a0the\u00a0Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Asia, and North America attended the virtual training. Among them\u00a0were\u00a0GNRC members involved in various initiatives and projects that promote the well-being of children. The training was facilitated by Ms. Ornella Barros and Ms. Adriana Gomez from Prayer and Action for Children.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants expressed their appreciation for the training and mentioned (through an online survey) gaining new insights and skills they will apply to help in advocating for children’s rights and their wellbeing.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
