Stories of people affected by war and conflicts are disheartening. Such stories give a glimpse of the suffering and inhumane conditions that are a new reality for the affected. Sadly, the Congolese who were affected by the M23 war are an example. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help alleviate their situation even if by just a little, GNRC Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C) in partnership with Organization Des Juenes Chretiens En Afrique Pour Le Development (OJCAD) organized an event on 10th<\/sup> March 2023. The event themed \u2018Nami ni Mtoto nina haki ya Amani\u2019 <\/em>(I am a child and I have the right to live in peace) aimed to assist displaced children at the Musawato site. This was due to the inhumane conditions the families were\/are living in, with limited access to food, forcing them to send their children to the streets to beg.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GNRC D.R.C collected donations from people of goodwill with which they were able to provide 32 families with children between the ages of 5 -16 years with food, clothes and shoes.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
