There is a Jewish story about a child who went to the synagogue to pray. He did not know the words of the traditional prayers, so he sat down in the back and started to sing the alphabet. After a few minutes, the adults of the synagogue asked him: “Why are you singing the alphabet?”

On 22nd April 2020, Arigatou International and its initiatives jointly hosted the live, "Interfaith Prayer with Children During the COVID-19 Pandemic." The solidarity prayer was led by faith leaders with active participation of children from seven different religious traditions including Baha’i, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism. Several partners and friends of the GNRC similarly participated in the prayer.

Arigatou International and its Global Network of Religions for Children, together with several faith-based and interfaith organizations, will host a Live Interfaith Prayer with Children on Wednesday 22 April at 08.00 EST/14.00 CET. The Prayer will be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook.
