María Cristina Perceval is an Argentinian by origin with over 30 years of experience as a Human Rights advocate, Senator and Diplomat. She is known for her extensive work in safeguarding the rights of the most vulnerable. Mrs. Perceval is the UNICEF Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean since March 6th 2016.

GNRC member in Uganda, Mr. Charles Okello joined the ‘Tell a friend Campaign’ by participating in radio talk shows aired by Radio Speak and Radio Ruping on 8th and 9th March 2017 respectively. This was to sensitize the community on the upcoming forum themed, ‘End Violence Against Children: Faith Communities in Action’. Subjects such as

GNRC–Comoros member, Mr. Akim Said M’changama, hosted the “Tell a Friend Campaign”, to raise awareness about the upcoming GNRC 5th Forum on May 2017. Ten religious leaders from the region gathered during this meeting.

Arigatou International convened an annual meeting for all directors of the four initiatives on 25th February 2017 in Tokyo, Japan. The four initiatives of Arigatou International are: – Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC), Ethics Education for Children, Prayer and Action for Children and Interfaith Initiative to End Child Poverty (End Child Poverty).
